It's that time again. NHMU is accepting applications for Teen Explainers for the 2020-21 school year. If you know someone between the ages of 14 and 18 who is excited to learn about the natural world, then we want them to apply to become a Teen Explainer at NHMU. Teen Explainers is a paid high school internship program focusing on science communication and learning about museums. Due to COVID-19, 2020-21 Teen Explainers will be a hybrid experience, offering both virtual and safe in-person opportunities. 

Teen Explainers will: 

• Receive training on effectively engaging public audiences 
• Meet museum professionals and have access to behind-the-scenes tours 
• Build professional development and communication skills 
• Make new friends and share fun experiences with peers
